State Sen. Ryan Fattman (R-Sutton) today announced several of his amendments to the capital bond repair bill were passed Thursday in the State Senate in an effort to support infrastructure projects and structural maintenance in the district.
“I am appreciative of the State Senate passing these amendments,” Fattman said. “My staff and I worked closely with the towns in order to understand their needs and hopefully help these projects come into fruition.”
Four amendments authorized money to support water infrastructure or construction of water and sewer pumps in the towns of Oxford, Sutton, Uxbridge, and Webster.
Additional amendments filed or co-sponsored by Fattman authorized up to a total of $15 million in funding for capital repair projects in the Worcester-Norfolk district. The amendments included funding for Northbridge Rockdale Village Fire Station renovations, and the expansion of Blackstone Valley Regional Vocational Technical High School.
